As it turns out, the hook-up did not take place last night coz the prospect lives in QC and that's a long way from Malate. Next week for sure coz that's probably our last night out with Marnie. But I dunno if I'm still up for it. Oh sheesh, he's not leaving in a month, he's leaving on the 24th which is two weeks from now! He cried last night as he dropped us at Loiza's but kudos to the bitch for keeping her composure and not empathizing.

But anyway, would you believe that I didn't F-dance with anyone last night? We were in Common Ground and I didn't. Except for Nog but there's nothing new in that. I even only hit the ledge once! TGIS was practically pushing me towards the ledge as opposed to the past when they practically had to drag me to get me off it.

So then it got me thinking that maybe I'm getting tired of playing THE GAME. Of taking pleasure in teasing the boys and then acting like they can never have me. Of taking my chances with strange men. Of hoping I'll actually find love on the dance floor.

I'm gonna take my time in the dug-out. I've had enough of playing the field. I'm even gonna take a vacation from the night life. I'm sure I'm gonna be missed but I think it's about time I do some soul searching. I want my next relationship to be more than just child's play. Which brings me to...

Work Ethics 101

This is it! I took the risk of succumbing to BND's flirtations. You know a guy's into you when he's willing to pick you up from anywhere anytime. But I guess that doesn't apply to Ludwig. Well, it all started with me texting him about not yet receiving any email from the property broker and then he asked about our badminton game and then the business talk was over. To sum it up, we had an interesting exchange of very personal text messages which resulted to him wanting to meet up. I invited him to join us but he said he's shy around new people. Yah right! The first thing that made me notice him is his ability to make a new person feel comfortable in his company. [Or was that just in my case?Ü] So, he told me to just text him an hour before I'm good to go and then we'll just go someplace else. Told him I probably won't be till close to midnight. He said THAT WAS JUST ABOUT RIGHT. Owkeeeiii... He'll pick me up from Malate at midnight to go someplace else. It's those someplace-elses that gives me the nerves. *chuckles*

Bottomline: we weren't able to meet anyway coz I FORGOT about meeting him and I wasn't able to text him. At past 12, he texted me asking if I still wanna go out. Well, the deal is, I didn't wanna leave my friends for some boy. Not even if he's got a lot of potential to be everything to me. [What song is that line lyrics of?] Not anymore. I'd no longer prioritize my love life over the other aspects of my life. Yihee...

He just texted me now inviting me to play badminton at South Smash and then maybe do something else after. Hmmm... something else after... Sounds appealing. I'd love to go but I already committed to Loiza about watching Spiderman 2 at ATC. Would you believe it? I'm choosing a movie with a girlfriend over something else with a love interest. Incredible. Congratulate me.

Pay It Forward

My congeniality is soon to reap its rewards. Mimon's girlfriend Jewel works at Smart Center in Megamall and she contacted me regarding Smart's week-long-only promo. I can get a Nokia 6600, 6230 or 7200 if I avail of the Plan 800!

Need I think this over? I see 6600 in my dreams! Wehehehe... But Jewel said that there are a lot of bugs in that phone's software so she advised me to get a 6230 instead.
